thankful for you!

I thought I sent this out a week ago, but both Maren and Duane told me they didn't see it, so will try again.

Dear family, Thanks for joining with us today as we fasted for special blessings for family members. We felt your faith, strength, and love and enjoyed the spirit we felt today. The First Presidency Christmas Devotional was wonderful, as usual, and gave us much good counsel for the Christmas season. Yesterday Joanne gave us a little Christmas tree for our apt with white lights on it. We have no decorations for it, but would like to invite each of you to send a small (tree is small) decoration with your favorite scripture and name on it. We loved visiting the Bloomfield Stake Nativity display and also the Farmington Stake's last night. We especially enjoyed their live nativity outside in front of their stake center (and thought it was a moment of note to see a little 12 year old shepherd slip into the cultural hall to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies with his family -- I bet those shepherds of yester-year would have enjoyed that too!)
